Frequently asked questions
Most orders ship in 2-4 days but custom orders may take up to 4-6 weeks depending on your customization. We keep some items in stock, please e-mail to inquire.
We ship UPS Ground for most items. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico may incur additional shipping fees, we will reach out to let you know and give you the option to cancel your order. We are not responsible for duties, customs fees or returned packages due to an invalid address. A re-ship fee must be paid if the item is returned to us.
Once the item leaves our facility, it is out of our hands, so please refer to the shipping carrier for questions about delivery.
Powder Coat Colors
Solid powder coat is an opaque, flat color and will not show our grind patterns. Transparent powder coat is used to showcase our unique grind patterns and comes in Candy, Shimmer and Sparkle. View our COLOR SAMPLES link (in MISC section) to see more pictures of the colors.
Candy = high gloss, no sparkle
Shimmer = modest sparkles
Sparkle = very sparkly
The solid colors are the most durable and suited well for outdoor use. Matte Black and Dark Brown have a fine texture and are the most durable powder coats we have available.
We can add an extra layer of powder coat to your item for added outdoor protection. We recommend this for transparent colors, fades or if you live in a high humidity area. Please see the link below.
What kind of material do you use?
All of our listings use 14 gauge (5/64") American made steel. This would be a bit thicker than a quarter ($.25). Most of our competitors use 16ga or 18ga steel, which is much thinner than what we use.
How soon will you respond to a message?
We will respond as quickly as we can during business hours, usually it will be within the same business day. During busier seasons you may not receive a response for up to 72 business hours. Please note that we respond to all emails in the order they are received. If you send a follow-up email on the same thread, the system will push your email to the end of the queue. We recommend that you send only one email to keep your spot. You may be able to find an answer to your question in the item description or FAQs. Please review those before sending a message. The less time we spend responding to messages, the faster we get the product in your hands!
How does the proof process work?
Some of our listings require your approval of the digital proof we send after checkout. We will send the proof via e-mail as soon as we can, normally within 3-7 business days of purchase. We will only provide up to 3 proofs for orders that get font options emailed to them. Additional proofs will be subject to extra fees. If we do not hear a response back within 30 days, we will go ahead and make the item in the most popular font. Please watch your e-mail. We are not responsible for delays due to missed messages. We will try to follow up when we can, but we do not always have time to do so.
Please e-mail us for our confirmation of a special request (example: you want 2 colors on the garage sign, but there is only one color you can select at checkout). You may leave a note about a special request on your order and we will contact you to confirm and let you know if any additional fees are involved. During our busier seasons, these notes can be overlooked. We are not responsible for missed notes, so it is always best to confirm before checkout.
Are your items finished on both sides?
Most of our products are wall art and only finished on one side. While both sides are powder coated, there is only one side that will have the grind pattern and 'pretty' finish on it. If you want both sides finished, it is an extra fee and only optional on some items. Please send us a message if you are interested in this.
It is difficult to capture in a photo how the powder coating looks in person. There will be variances due to many factors.. including your computer screen resolution, looking at your product in a certain lighting to slight variance in batches of powder coat. If you are unsure of what color to pick, we can send you 3 color samples for a small fee (find this in our ADD-ON section). We accept returns on non-personalized items, so you can always exchange for another color if needed. Buyer will be responsible for return shipping.
We accept returns and exchanges on non-personalized orders within 14 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Return is subject to a restocking fee. Please message us for more details.
